District Superintendents and/or District Coordinators have been contacted for updates. As of the moment, churches are reporting safe members and no major church damage. It will take time for churches to know for sure and report, especially in areas with severe damage, power outages, or are in remote locations. It will take several days for the scope of damage to be known, though there is at least minor damage in most districts.
Emergency grants have been made available to the Districts in case there are immediate needs they can provide through local churches in affected areas.
